Ultra-Filtration (UF) is not fundamentally different from reverse osmosis, except in terms of the size of the molecules it retains. UF is used to remove essentially all colloidal particles (0.001 to 1.0 microns) from water and some of the largest dissolved contaminants. The pore size in a UF membrane is mainly responsible for determining the type and size of contaminants removed. UF membranes are used to remove essentially all colloidal particles, including most pathogenic organisms. Therefore, if TDS levels are not exceptionally “high”, UF membrane technology is an excellent alternative to reverse osmosis.

Ultra Filtration (UF membrane) drinking water systems will dramatically improve water quality by reducing chlorine, taste, odors and potentially harmful contaminants, all for a fraction of the cost related to reverse osmosis systems.
Stage-1 (Pre-filter)
5-micron polypropylene sediment filter to remove larger particulate.
Stage-2 (UF Membrane)
Polypropylene hollow fiber membranes use micro pore technology to separate, concentrate and purify the water.
Stage-3 (Carbon block)
Coconut shell carbon block to reduce chlorine, lead, bad taste and odors.

Contaminants Reduced: The right technology makes a difference!
Changing a filter cartridge is simple, just a 1/4-turn unlocks the cartridge for removal. The Entek cartridge is self-locking into the filter head, making it easy for the homeowner to replace.
