*Service Flow Rate is based on peak media filtration efficiency levels. Higher flow rates are easily achieved due to the heavy duty commercial grade internal pipe/strainer design. However, for effective removal of containments at all flow rates it is recommended that the filter is followed by an Entek Ion Exchange Water Conditioner.
|
Note: This filter is not designed to remove bacteria iron or sulfur. When either is present consult with Entek's Technical Application Department for specific recommendations. Re-bedding of the filter media is recommended every 2-4 years based on your specific water conditions and usage. |
Conventional water treatment solutions for the contaminants listed above require frequent and expensive cartridge replacement while providing limited removal effectiveness or utilize messy, dangerous environmentally un-friendly chemicals to regenerate with.
Entek's system utilizes a unique blend of four (4) separate filtration medias developed with over 40 years of practical field experience in treating problem water conditions caused by these contaminants. This unique blend of medias (Birm, KDF, Course Garnet and Fine Garnet) employ several time tested technologies including oxidation, catalytic reaction and multiple degrees of mechanical filtration.
All Entek control valves, by-pass valves and pressure vessels have been tested by the Water Quality Association (WQA) Laboratories to NSF/ANSI-44 standards.
